TRAFFIC PATTERN

Please note the northern “side” dock will be for launching, and the southern “main” dock will be for recovery.

The Ferryman’s Challenge will follow the standard traffic pattern. You must stay to the right of the traffic cone buoy at all times, and follow the “rules of the road”, travelling on the right side of the river. Crews must stop as races pass them along the course. The starting platform is a single piece and you may not row-through into your lane, and must enter on the northern side of the course near lane 6.

Crews may row up-river (west) prior to their event, and/or continue past the starting platform another 1000M towards the dam to practice before their event. Mind the weather monitoring buoy and do not approach the orange barrels marking the edge of the dam.

Crews that won its final or a prime will be instructed to the awards dock.
